100-HOUR
MULTI
ENGINE PROGRAM
Why 100 Hours?
Our Commitment at SunState Powered by Academy of Aviation
- • We're passionate about helping students turn their aviation goals into reality.
- • For many, that goal is to build a career as a commercial airline pilot.
What Airlines Are Really Looking For
- • Airlines don't just look at how many hours you've flown — they focus heavily on the kind of flight time you have.
- • While 1500 hours is the minimum required, the type of experience within those hours is what really counts.
The Value of Multi-Engine Experience
- • Multi-engine hours are among the most important flight time you can log.
- • Applicants with strong multi-engine backgrounds are often preferred by commercial airlines.
About Our 100-Hour Multi-Engine Career Program
- • This program is designed to give our students a head start by focusing early on multi-engine flying.
- • It includes 100 hours of multi-engine flight time, offering a major advantage when applying to airlines.
How the Training Is Structured
- Students begin their training by earning:
- • Private Pilot Certificate
- • Multi-Engine Add-on
- • Instrument Rating
- • Multi-Engine and Single Engine Commercial Pilot Certificate
- • Single-Engine Add-On to further broaden their experience.
- • Instructor Certificate (MEI)
- • Instructor Certificates (CFI, CFII)
